These fast paced, action packed training experiences will be led by AVPFirst Master Coaches with assistance from the AVP athletes themselves. These clinics will occur at various beach volleyball facilities across the country in 2016.  The full schedule of opportunities will be released soon.

2016 AVPFirst Junior Championships: Youth Athletes by invitation only

In 2016, AVPFirst will organize and deliver the highest quality beach volleyball experience for youth and their families; The 2nd Annual AVPFirst Junior Championships. This signature event will bring some of the finest youth beach volleyball talent from across the country to Southern California for a weeklong volleyball experience. The event will act as a showcase for young athletes and include tournament play, NCAA Sand Coach Forum, college campus visits and training sessions with AVPFirst Master Coaches and AVP Talent.

ATHLETE AGES: All Ages

This weeklong experience is AVPFirst’s version of summer vacation! Participants will convene daily for a week of high level training and development in an intimate beach resort setting. The Academy will act as a comprehensive beach volleyball school for beginners and experienced players alike. Level appropriate training will be structured to include the development of volleyball skills, in-game strategy, physical conditioning and personal development. On top of volleyball skill development, each day will include guest lectures from some of the top experts in the field of nutrition, strength & conditioning, sports psychology/mental preparedness, injury management and partner selection.

ATHLETE AGES: All Ages

In an effort to ensure all children have access to the great sport of volleyball and a healthier lifestyle, AVPFirst will partner with local community organizations in underserved neighborhoods across the country as part of the Community Corner Program. AVPFirst will host these various youth groups on site at each tour stop for an introductory clinic along with positive messaging from AVP talent and coaches and great seats for Sunday’s championship matches. The goal is to create lasting relationships with these organizations and provide valuable resources to communities in need.
