Prize Money
Gold Series tournaments give AVP athletes the opportunity to earn more prize money for competing. While regular tournaments have a purse of $150,000, the elevated series offer even more. The purse amounts for the Gold Series is as follows:

  • New York City Open- $175,000

  • Chicago Championships- $225,000

Points
Gold Series also gives AVP athletes the opportunity to earn more AVP points than your typical tournament. These point values are based off the size of the purse. While a first place finish would usually equate to 750 points, it earns you 900 points in New York City and 1,200 in Manhattan Beach and Chicago. See the table below for the new point system.
