Brad Keenan was born on August 10, 1981 in Westminster, CA. Currently he lives in Costa Mesa, CA and trains out of Hermosa Beach. Keenan attended Pepperdine where he played middle blocker. During his time at Pepperdine he was named a four-time All-American and a two-time National Player of the Year. Keenan also helped lead his team to National Championships where they were the runner-up. He also led the nation in blocks during his senior season.
In 2006, Keenan made his AVP debut at Ft. Lauderdale. Since then, he has earned twenty five top-3 finishes on the AVP tour. Keenan was named AVP Rookie of the Year in 2006 and won the award for Most Improved Player in 2007. In addition to training, Keenan works as the Director and Coach at OC Sand Volleyball Club. Brad is married to fellow beach volleyball player, April Ross. Keenan will team up with John Mayer for the AVP tour.
