Whitney Pavlik split her college career between Montana and UC Irvine, where she graduate from. At UC Irvine, Pavlik was named to the All-Conference team and holds the UC Irvine record for highest hitting percentage in a single game and has the 3rd best hitting percentage in school history.
Pavlik made her AVP debut in Dallas in 2007. She finished 2013 as her best season in the AVP, earning four top-3 finishes, including winning the Manhattan Beach Open for the 3rd consecutive year. Pavlik was also named the AVP Rookie of the Year in 2008, when she earned ten top-10 finishes. Pavlik has also had success in international competition. In 2011 and 2012, Pavlik teamed with Jenny Kropp winning NORCECA events in Boca Chica and Guatemala City. In 2013, she teamed with Emily Day to win the NORCECA event at Toluca.
Outside of volleyball, Pavlik works as an Administrative Assistant at Laguna Beach Seniors. Pavlik will be teaming up in 2014 with Jen Fopma.
Favorite thing about beach volleyball: “That I get to be on the beach each day, doing something that I love.”
Role Models: “I couldn’t imagine where I would be in beach volleyball without my family. They have all influenced me throughout my career in so many ways and their continued support is amazing!”
