2025 West Coast Championships

• Bids for West Coast Championships can be earned at all 1-star and higher events from July 1, 2025 – November 3, 2025.
• Phase 1:
  • If there is no Waitlist in your respective division on September 20, teams that have won a bid will be guaranteed a spot. If a team is registered but hasn’t yet won a bid, they will be considered for Phase 2 entry.
  • If there is a Waitlist on September 20, then only the teams that have won a bid and have the highest AVP Ranking on that date will be given a spot. Any team not given a spot at that time will be withdrawn and refunded. No phase 2 and 3 necessary.††
• Phase 2: (Only if there is no Waitlist)
  • From September 20 to October 11, any teams with a newly earned bid, not already accepted in Phase 1 will be added.
  • If a Waitlist forms during this period, only teams that have won bids and have the highest AVP ranking will be awarded spots on October 11.††
• Phase 3 – October 12 to November 2: During Phase 3, any remaining open spots may be accepted on a first come, first serve basis regardless of any bid or points. If a waitlist forms during Phase 3, only the highest ranked teams at the registration deadline will be admitted to the tournament.††

Additional Bid Information:

• Teams must be complete to be accepted. Incomplete teams will not be accepted into the Entry List.
• Bid winners may play with any partner of their choice. Only one partner per team is required to have earned a bid.
• Bids are not age-specific. Players may compete in any age group as long as they have not aged out based on our Junior Age Requirements.
• Players will be required to compete in their respective divisions at the time of the event (see Tournament Age Requirements above).
• For example, if you win a bid in 12U, but based on your high school graduation year, you’re now required to play 14U, your bid is still valid. You do not need to earn another bid in 14U. But you must compete in 14U at this event based on your grad year.
