Virginia Beach Open – Contender Event

With over thirty-five miles of deep sand, “Neptune City” remains the perfect fit to host the second Contender Event on the 2025 AVP season.

Location: 8th Street, Atlantic Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23451

The second AVP Contender event of the season will kick off with a Qualifier on Friday and Main Draw action Saturday & Sunday featuring the best rising stars in the sport. The winners & runners up will receive not only their share of the $60,000 prize purse, but also Wild Card births into the prestigious Manhattan Beach Open in August. This weekend will also host the AVP Juniors 4-Star Mid-Atlantic Championships, showcasing the nation’s most talented junior athletes as they compete for bids to the AVP Junior Nationals Championships this July in Hermosa Beach, CA.
