Manhattan Beach Open

Established in 1960, the AVP Manhattan Beach Open is synonymous with the word ‘iconic” in the sport of beach volleyball. The Granddaddy of them all returns with the biggest draw of the season and the highest stakes. Who will cement their name in history on the Manhattan Beach Pier this year with a victory?

LOCATION: Manhattan Beach Pier, CA

General admission for this event is free, and seating is on a first come, first served basis.

Friday, August 14:

• Competition will begin at 8am
• Box office will open at 7am, with ticketed areas opening at 7:30am

Saturday, August 15:

• Competition will begin at 8am
• Box office will open at 7am, with ticketed areas opening at 7:30am

Sunday, August 16:

• Competition will begin at 8:30am
• Box office will open at 7:30am, with ticketed areas opening at 8am

Competition Format:The Manhattan Beach Open will be a dual gender, 32-team Main Draw, double-elimination tournament. Sets will be played to 21 points, best two of three.

Parking Information: There is no dedicated event parking avialable. Please use public parking throughout Manahattan Beach, and consider carpooling or ridesharing.

Additional Information: All bags will be subject to search. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers are not permitted in ticketed areas or in the general admission grandstands.
