Huntington Beach Open

The AVP Huntington Beach Open returns to the main stage as the first Heritage Event of 2026. Since 2000, Huntington Beach has been a mainstay on the AVP schedule and a proving ground for beach volleyball talent. Who will take home the hardware this year down in OC?

Event Location: Huntington Beach Pier, CA

Friday, May 15:

• Competition will begin at 9am
• Box office will open at 8am, with ticketed areas opening at 8:30am

Saturday, May 16:

• Competition will begin at 9am
• Box office will open at 8am, with ticketed areas opening at 8:30am

Sunday, May 17:

• Competition will begin at 8:30am
• Box office will open at 7:30am, with ticketed areas opening at 8am

Competition Format: The Huntington Beach Open will be a dual gender, 16-team Main Draw, double-elimination tournament. Sets will be played to 21 points, best two of three.

Parking Information: There is no dedicated event parking available. Please utilize nearby public beach lots or other various public parking options in downtown Huntington Beach. These options are limited and fill up quickly, so we strongly recommend carpooling or ridesharing.

Additional Information: All bags will be subject to search. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers are not permitted in ticketed areas or in the beer garden.
