In this day and age, how you portray yourself online matters. Your social media accounts give people a glimpse into your life. What you are posting on social media gives an accurate depiction of who you are and what you’re about.
Well… does it actually?
We’ve decided to have a little fun and poke fun at this Instagram world that has been created, acknowledging that what we post on Instagram can be very different than reality.
And in the world of beach volleyball where we are inspired by the pros as they dance across the sand, dive like a graceful swan, and jump through the air with incredible height, we can’t help but realize we’ve had a few of our own “Instagram vs Reality” moments when we play with our crew every Wednesday at sunset. Meaning… in our heads, we think we look like that Sports Illustrated photo of Taylor Crabb diving through the air but in reality, we’re just inches from the ground with a face full of sand.
We figured you guys may relate to this too, which is why we’ve compiled our favorite Instagram vs Reality moments.
