AVPNext is the official developmental platform of the AVP.
AVPNext makes up the top of the AVP America grassroots pyramid of programming, giving all athletes the opportunity to develop their skills and earn valuable AVP points in order to climb the rankings towards becoming a pro. These events, run by a combination of AVP America Promoters and the AVP, will highlight the premier amateur organizations nationwide and increase brand awareness of both the AVP and its local partner organization.
The AVPNext Gold and Gold Plus events will offer further quality standards, gender-equal prize money and the ability to earn Wild Card bids into AVP Pro Tour Main Draw tournaments and compete against the best pros in the world. The AVPNext U26 events will also award Wild Card positions into the AVP Tour Main Draws, but no prize money will be associated with those tournaments.
All events under the AVPNext umbrella offer a minimum of $5,000 total prize money GUARANTEED to Men’s & Women’s Open divisions. AVPNext Gold events offer a minimum of $15,000 prize money, Gold Plus events offer a minimum of $20,000 prize money, and all have increased AVP ranking points.
This year, AVPNext is giving away over $300,000 in total Prize Money!
