AVP DASHBOARD

The Number 1’s Come Out On Top

 |

It was the best way the season could have ended… A packed stadium with standing room only, some of the best athletes in the US competing for the championship title, all of which happened on a beautiful and sunny last summer day.

Kerri Walsh Jennings and April Ross ended the season on a high note winning all 7 AVP events. They defeated Heather Hughes (her first-ever finals) and Whitney Pavlik (her first finals of the season) in a close 2-set match 22-20, 21-17. Casey Patterson and Jake Gibb also ended the season with 4 AVP event wins and defeated Tri Bourne and John Hyden in an exciting 3-set match 19-21, 26-24, 15-13.

It came and went so fast, but the AVP 2014 seasons is one for the books. Thank you to everyone who supported the AVP this season. From sponsors and fans to the athletes and staff who helped put on the events, none of this would have been possible without all of our efforts combined.
