Alison is a world reference in the sport, the greatest champion of Rei da Praia and Super Praia, and recognized worldwide for being an example of an athlete.Olympic Gold and Silver medalist at the Olympics (Rio 2016/London 2012), Alison Cerutti, the Mammoth (Mamute in Portuguese), was also a two-time world champion (2011 and 2015) and World Tour Finals champion. In 2019, he went from 46th in the Olympic race to third in the world. In Tokyo 2020, he came in fifth place, and was the highest-finishing Brazilian Team at the Games. In 2023, Alison decided to take on another challenge: to be champion of the AVP.
Alison is also an ambassador and creator of the Sacada Cidada project, where more than 1000 children have passed through its two units located in Espirito Santo, Brazil. Alison is known for his extremely positive attitude, which is always highlighted by his partners on the court. Outside of volleyball, Alison loves to spend time with his family and friends while cooking some Brazilian BBQ. His favorite dessert is chocolate – any type will make this big man happy! Alison and his wife Tatiana have been together for ten years and have two kids, a daughter, Catarina, and a son, Miguel.
