Andy’s introduction to volleyball began on the sand courts at Palos Verdes High School, where the indoor team trained during the offseason. After playing indoor volleyball in college, he transitioned to beach volleyball in 2018 alongside his friend and high school teammate Cole Fiers. The pair qualified for two AVP Main Draws that summer, and Andy quickly fell in love with the sport.
In his early professional years, Andy gained experience competing alongside AVP veterans such as Nick Lucena, Phil Dalhausser, Casey Patterson, and Billy Allen. His partnership with Miles Partain in 2023 proved highly successful, as the Duo won multiple AVP events and qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics. They competed for the Dallas Dream in 2024 and 2025. In 2026, Andy enters his third AVP League season with the Miami Mayhem alongside new partner Taylor Crabb, and the pair captured their first AVP Heritage Major in Huntington Beach.
Off the court, Andy enjoys playing video games and reading. He values the opportunity to train and compete against the best athletes in the world and looks forward to continued travel, competition, and connection with fans and players globally, along with spending time with his wife, Deahna, as they expect their first child.
