Starting her volleyball career indoor at Loyal Marymount University, Betsi Flint competed for four years and left the program as the school’s all-time leader in both digs and aces. She then joined LMU’s beach team for two season and was selected as an All-American both seasons.
Flint became the youngest team to win an AVP tournament in September 2015 when she and Kelley Larsen won all five matches in Cincinnati. The duo was a combined 46 years, 4 months, 27 days. Flint has two sisters, Sarah & Sophia and one brother, Roy. In May, 2014, she married Chase Flint, who played basketball at Loyola Marymount University.
Who are your role models?
My mom is my number one role model! She is such a strong woman, great mom, and has always been there to support me.
Volleyball wise, my biggest role model is Misty May. I love studying her game, and I really appreciate her demeanor on and off the court!
What are your pre-game rituals?
Before our matches, Kelley and I play cards in the players tent to get our minds awake and going! We also have our pre-game race when we warm up..it’s always a close one!
What is your guilty pleasure television show or musical artist?
Grey’s anatomy…for sure!! 13 seasons strong!
