Dave Palm

Dave Palm started playing beach volleyball after watching Phil and Todd compete in the 2010 South Beach AVP when he was 18. At that moment, he decided to move north and pursue beach volleyball. He’d only played two years in high school for both his school and club. In his 18s year, he forewent college to continue competing, and his team won the USA Junior Tour National Championship in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Since then, he has been playing for over a decade on tours ranging from the former NVL to local tournaments to nationwide AVPs. In 2022, he won two Tour Series events with Rafu Rodriguez in Muskegon, Michigan, and Waupaca, Wisconsin. A memorable moment in his career was winning his first Tour Series event in Muskegon while having food poisoning the night before. He only slept a few hours, couldn’t keep anything down, but still prevailed as the winner!

Dave is he is the owner of PCA beach volleyball club in Pompano/West Palm Beach, Florida. PCA has two locations helping young female athletes accomplish playing at the next level in college. It is something he is passionate about, giving back to the game that gave him everything. While Dave isn’t playing, he is relaxing at home and staying indoors as he spends too much time in the sun. His favorite book is The Inner Game of Tennis, and his favorite food is pizza.
