David Vander Meer

Vander Meer earned four letters at Ball State. He set school records for most digs in a four-set match (23) and most 20+ dig matches in a career (three, all coming in 2014). Vander Meer’s 308 digs his senior season was the eighth most in program history.

Vander Meer’s mother, Michelle, played basketball and ran track at Aquinas College, and coached him in club volleyball. His dad, David, is a referee on the AVP Tour. Vander Meer has three sisters, Megan, Sydney and Jennifer, and one brother, Nathanael.
