Geena is the first-ever athlete to receive a full-ride scholarship for NCAA beach volleyball. She played one year as a graduate student at USC after playing indoor for four years. She was a standout on their team, earning First Team Pac-10 Conference All-Academic her senior season, becoming the first Trojan with that distinction in seven years. She’s been a staple on the AVP for a decade, making a handful of Finals in her first few years on Tour. She then won her first AVP in 2022, the AVP Atlanta Gold Series with Julia Scoles.

Outside of volleyball, Geena works in marketing, loves to travel, and is into tons of outdoor activities like surfing, snowboarding, pickleball, camping, and backpacking. She is also a pit bull advocate, mainly because of her gorgeous dog Zucca the Pit. Geena is passionate about female empowerment, and her favorite new endeavor is co-hosting the Bet on Her Podcast with fellow AVP athlete Kelley Reeves, founded by Dana Drambarean.
