Jeff Samuels attended Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he played lacrosse. While attending Davenport, he was introduced to volleyball and decided to pursue the sport. Jeff transferred to Michigan State University where he was a middle blocker for the men’s volleyball team. After graduating, Samuels transitioned to the beach game professionally in 2014.
