Katie Dickens

Katie (Lindelow) Dickens played indoor (2012-2015) and beach (2014-2017) at Louisiana State University while earning a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Sports Management. After graduating from LSU, Katie moved to Austin, Texas, to train, compete, and coach full-time. She now runs Silver Beach Volleyball, one of the largest beach clubs in Texas, serving juniors and adults of all ages and skill levels. Katie was named the USAV Beach Club Director of the year in 2022. Katie’s first time qualifying for an AVP Main Draw was in the 2018 Austin Open with Lauren Dickson. After upsetting several teams in the Qualifier, Katie and Lauren defeated the #1 seed in the Main Draw on Friday morning. There was no better feeling than seeing a dream come to reality in front of family, friends, and the local community in her new home city of Austin.

When not competing or coaching, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, Riley, and pups, Paisley and Val. Katie’s ideal off weekend would include home projects, a workout, iced coffee, and church on Sunday morning.
