Kelley Kolinske is a four-time AVP Champion and was part of the youngest team (at the time) to win an AVP championship in 2015 with Betsi Flint. Kelley played both beach and indoor at Pepperdine University and is a 2-time All-American; she also won two National Beach Championships in 2012 and 2014 before it was an NCAA sport. She is the all-time winningest player in Pepperdine Beach’s program history. Kelley and Sara Hughes won an epic come-from-behind 3rd-setter at the 2022 Manhattan beach Open Final; their names will soon be on the Manhattan Beach Pier forever. Kelley recently partnered with up-and-comer Hailey Harward for the 2023 season and beyond.
Kelley’s favorite AVP memory was winning her first AVP title in her rookie season. That moment is when she decided she was going to fully pursue the sport to see where it took her. When she’s not playing volleyball, she can probably still be found at the beach. Kelley and Bill Kolinske, who met on the AVP, married in March 2020 (right before the world shut down) after getting engaged on Stadium Court at the 2019 Chicago AVP.
