Kelly comes from a UCLA Volleyball family; her mother, Jeanne Reeves, played and coached for the program, along with her two brothers, Connor and Jake Reeves. During her time at UCLA, Kelly helped the UCLA Indoor team to a National Championship Title in 2011 and played one season with the UCLA Beach Program in 2013. Kelly was named the program’s first All American in 2013. Prior to her beach debut, Kelly played one year of professional indoor volleyball in Switzerland and trained with the USA Indoor National Team from 2014-2015.
Kelly made her debut on the AVP back in 2016, where she qualified into the Main Draw of her first-ever tournament, and finished 5th. She was later named Rookie of the Year in 2016, and has since competed in all AVP events. Kelly has also competed on the FIVB World Tour, with her highest finish of 2nd place in Cambodia. Kelly’s favorite AVP memories are finishing third in the 2019 Manhattan Beach Open and her first back-to-back weekends finishing 3rd with partner Jennifer Fopma. When she’s not playing volleyball, she’s spending time with her cat Fred (@fredthecat84). She’s never eaten at Chick-fil-A, recommends the book Chop Wood, Carry Water by Joshua Medcalf, and her favorite food is sweet potatoes.
