Kyle was born and raised in South Florida. He fell in love with volleyball at a young age from his parents, Gayle and Scott, who took him to their Wednesday night co-ed beach volleyball league. Kyle found early success in the sport, competing for the USA at the 2007 U19 World Championships in Mexico. Kyle then earned a scholarship to play indoor volleyball at Long Beach State University. After graduating with a Business Management Degree in 2011, Kyle spent six years playing professionally all over the world. Wrapping up his career in Switzerland with a Swiss Cup championship and Cup MVP in 2016, he decided to give up the hard court and move to the sand. While competing on the sand, he spent two years completing his MBA and working as a Graduate Assistant for Concordia Men’s Volleyball. Kyle was nominated for AVP rookie of the year in 2017 and earned four top-ten finishes within the next two years.
If Kyle has a free weekend, he is out playing golf, cooking up a tasty meal, or making a stop at Sidecar donuts.
