Larissa is one of the best beach volleyball players the sport has ever seen. She is the winningest woman with 62 wins on the FIVB Tour. She’s a three-time Olympian, winning the Bronze medal at the London Games in 2012, an 8-time World Champ, and a 9-time Brazilian Champ. In her first year on the AVP, she and her wife/partner Lili advanced to the Semifinals of Manhattan Beach and the Finals of Chicago, earning the love of adoring fans along the way. Their fiery play and craftiness set this indomitable Brazilian duo apart.

Larissa always tries to have fun while warming up for games by pumping up the crowd and dancing. Her favorite career memory was playing in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio with all of her family cheering in person. Larissa loves to play AVP with her wife as her beach partner. Larissa and Lili’s 2022 Muskegon Tour Series victory marked the first time a married couple has won an AVP event. They’re not only examples of talented and dedicated athletes but also an example of love.
