Lexy Denaburg

Lexy was introduced to beach volleyball through her mom’s indoor club, Cape Coast Volleyball Club. She began playing indoor volleyball around age 9 and spent her summers competing on the sand, eventually developing a passion for beach volleyball during high school. In 2019, she moved to California to attend UCLA and compete for the Bruins’ beach volleyball program.

At UCLA, Lexy became one of the most accomplished players in program history. She earned four AVCA First Team All-American honors, four Pac-12 First Team selections, and finished as the school’s all-time career wins leader with 133 victories. She primarily competed on Court One alongside partners Savvy Cory, Abby Van Winkle, and Maggie Boyd. Lexy and partner Julia Donlin won the 2025 AVP League Championship with the Brooklyn Blaze and later earned a fifth-place finish at the 2025 FIVB World Championships in Adelaide, along with a silver medal at the 2025 Newport Elite 16. The Duo returns to the Brooklyn Blaze for the 2026 AVP League season.

Outside of volleyball, Lexy enjoys working out, hot yoga, spending time on the boat or at the beach, and cooking. Her favorite food is steak.
