Megan J. Rice

Megan Rice played indoor volleyball at Loyola Marymount University (LMU). Although she was born into the mecca of beach volleyball, she didn’t play the sport in high school. However, in her junior season at LMU, she was invited to join the beach volleyball team, where she was an AVCA All-American and the WCC Pair of the Year in her final season. In her rookie AVP season in 2023, Megan reached two finals and was voted the AVP Rookie of the Year.

One of Megan’s favorite career memories is making the finals in her debut Main Draw at AVP Hermosa 2023 alongside Savvy Simo. Born and raised in Hermosa Beach, Megan had the special experience of playing in front of her friends and family. When she’s not on the volleyball court, Megan enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her dog Winnie.
