Meg started playing club indoor volleyball at the age of 10 and beach volleyball at the age of 13, coached by Derek Olson. Though mainly focusing on beach, she won a California State Championship at Torrey Pines HS in her senior year. At USC, where she studied accounting, she was a four-time NCAA national champion and All-American, was AVCA 2024 Player of the Year, 2021 Freshman of the Year, and a three-time Pac-12 Pair of the Year with partners Tina Graudina and Delaynie Maple. She qualified for her first AVP Main Draw in Huntington Beach in 2019 at the age of 16 – and won the 2021 U19 World Championship with Delaynie Maple. Now competing with Terese Cannon, their team has medaled seven times in Elite-level FIVB international events, and Meg was voted FIVB 2024 Rookie of the Year. In 2025, Meg and Terese placed 2nd in both the AVP Huntington Beach and Manhattan Beach Opens, and competed for the LA Launch in the AVP League. Meg is a member of the United States Beach National Team and is coached by Mike Placek.
Meg has a twin brother who played baseball in college. Meg attributes at least some of her discipline and focus to her parents, who both served as military officers – her father, a Marine Corps Harrier Jet Pilot, and her mother, a Navy clinical psychologist who served in Iraq in a combat hospital. When not playing or working out, Meg enjoys attending daily mass when able, studying accounting, and listening to her favorite artists – either Taylor Swift or Social Distortion.
