Piotr was born and raised in Poland and began playing volleyball at the age of 13. Marciniak began playing indoor professionally in 2004 and played for the Polish National Team from 2005-2006. After moving to the United States in 2012 to pursue his Master’s degree, Piotr transitioned to beach volleyball, playing on the AVP tour.
He is married to fellow AVP player Kaya, and they have a son together.
