Ryan Wilcox

Ryan Wilcox was born and raised on the south shore of O‘ahu, where he began playing volleyball at age 10 at the Outrigger Canoe Club. Competing in both beach and indoor volleyball growing up, he eventually continued his indoor career at UC Santa Barbara, earning Freshman of the Year honors and becoming a three-time All-American.

After college, Ryan transitioned full-time to beach volleyball in 2023 and qualified for his first AVP Main Draw in Huntington Beach. Since then, he has won two AVP Heritage Contender events and recorded a career-best seventh-place finish at the 2025 Manhattan Beach Open. Ryan enters his first AVP League season alongside partner Troy Field for the Austin Aces Duo.

Off the court, Ryan enjoys surfing, playing guitar, and coaching youth volleyball. A fun fact: he once won an episode of Wipeout, and his favorite food is poke.
