She played for the Canadian Indoor National team and professionally overseas before starting to play beach volleyball on the FIVB World Tour in 2013. Sarah split time between pro indoor and the beach for several years before making the full-time switch to the sand in 2018. A 2016 Rio Olympian and 3-time FIVB Best Blocker, Sarah won the 2019 World Championships with Melissa Humana-Paredes in Hamburg, Germany. With that win, Sarah and Melissa earned a spot at the 2020 Tokyo Games, where they placed 5th.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys coaching kids, reading books, doing pottery, and playing the piano. She’s also in business school earning a Master’s and is exceptionally good at board games.
