Teegan grew up with two brothers and a twin sister who all loved watching and playing sports. Soccer was and still is her first love. Recruited for both soccer and volleyball, she ended up in Atlanta as an All-America and All-ACC honoree playing indoor volleyball at Georgia Tech as an outside hitter. She was then introduced to beach volleyball and played one year at Georgia State University, where she and her twin sister, Annika, competed as the #1 pair for the Panthers. Teegan moved to Southern California at the start of 2020 to pursue a beach volleyball career, only to be stalled by COVID for a couple of years before her first full year on the AVP tour in 2022.
She enjoys hiking, working out, cooking, and reading, but her greatest priority is loving Christ and living to serve Him. She loves her church family at Mission Bible Church and serves in the kids’ ministry. She highly recommends Cafe Rio and El Toro Bravo for all Mexican food cravings.
