Trevor Crabb was born in Hawaii and moved out to California for college. He played on the men’s volleyball team at Long Beach State.
In 2013, Crabb played in his first AVP event and had a 9th place finish. This year he has had his best season with two 5th place finishes with partner Billy Allen.
2015: Started the AVP season with two different partners in the first three events, with a best of third alongside Ty Tramblie in their debut as partners. He then partnered with his brother Taylor for the last four events, and they finished third twice, including in Manhattan Beach. Crabb ended the year ranked fourth in hitting percentage (.468). On the FIVB Tour he played four tournaments with four different partners, with his best finish a ninth with his brother Taylor.
Who are your role models?
My father. He taught me almost everything about the game of volleyball and how to be successful and happy in life.
What are your pre-game rituals?
Stretch, hydrate, and more stretching.
If you weren’t playing professional volleyball, what would your job be?
Probably working at a gym or maybe at a surf rental company on the beach.
